As previously noted, please be advised that Spring Oak of Berlin continues to be experiencing a COVID-19 Outbreak at this time.
As of today, November 23, 2020, please be advised of the following COVID-19 cases in our building:
Positive Residents: 11 Positive Staff: 5
(At present 3 of those staff members counted are considered recovered – they are experiencing no symptoms and have retested negative at this time)
Please be assured that individual phone calls have been and will continue to be made to the families whose loved ones have tested positive.
We continue our daily reporting to the NJ Dept of Health per their guidelines and will continue to adhere to all requirements as they instruct us to do us.
At this time and in agreement with the State of New Jersey, Department of Health, and in conjunction with the CDC, Spring Oak will be following their Holiday Visitation Guidance in NOT allowing our residents to leave the facility for Thanksgiving gatherings. I sincerely hope you understand the weight of this decision to not allow Thanksgiving Leave in our attempt to keep our residents, employees, and families safe during this second wave of the virus that we are all experiencing.
Please feel free to contact us should you have any additional questions.
